“Mom’s Summer Siesta”

This physical color pencil painting is a memory of quiet summer afternoons. My mother would take us to the yard filled with the scent of flowers. While we played, she sat in a chair with a newspaper, dozing off under the sun. These were the soft, warm rhythms of our summers—simple, tender, unforgettable.
