What you are buying
You are buying a digital artwork file — a study you generated yourself using one of the instruments on this site — together with the rights described below. You may also be buying one or more physical prints of it.
You are not buying the copyright. Chaz.Art retains all intellectual property rights in the artwork, in the instruments that made it, and in the code behind both.
What you may do
Display the artwork, privately and publicly, in any personal and non-commercial setting. Your home, your office, your screen, a show you are not charging admission to.
Print it, yourself or through any printer you choose, as many times as you like, at any size, for your own use or as a gift. There is no limit on the number of copies you make for yourself.
Share images of it online — social media, a personal website, a portfolio of what you collect — with credit to Chaz.Art where credit is practical.
Use it as a personal avatar, profile picture, or wallpaper.
Give it away or sell it on as a whole. If you do, these same rights pass to the person who receives it, and stop being yours.
What you may not do
Use the artwork commercially. That includes selling prints, putting it on merchandise, using it in advertising, or using it as part of a product or service you charge for.
Sell, license, or distribute the file itself as a file — as stock art, in a bundle, in a pack, or as a download others can obtain separately from the artwork.
Mint the artwork, or anything derived from it, as a token on any blockchain. A token may already exist for your study; there is not to be another.
Use the artwork, in whole or in part, to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any machine learning or artificial intelligence system.
Claim you made it, remove or obscure attribution, or present a modified version as an original work of your own.
About the on-chain record
Every purchase creates a record of your artwork on the Tezos blockchain. It is included at no extra cost and you do not have to do anything with it. If you would like it sent to a wallet you control, you can ask for that at any time; if you never ask, it stays where it is and nothing about your purchase changes.
The on-chain record is a record. Holding it does not give you any rights beyond the ones on this page, and not holding it does not take any away. Your rights come from your purchase.
If this license ends
These rights end if you breach them. If that happens you must stop using the artwork and destroy the files you hold. Prints you already made for your own use are yours to keep.
Law
This license is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States.
Version 2026-09-16. If you have bought something, the version you agreed to is on your receipt — it may not be this one, and the one on your receipt is the one that applies to your purchase.
